About
The LIFEx project aims to have a positive impact on European workplaces by providing a state-of-the-art immersive learning experience to support the development of soft skills as set out in the European LifeComp Framework (2020).
Through the LIFEx Project, partners will promote human empowerment by increasing the Personal, Social and Learning to Learn’ competencies of Europeans.
LIFEx will also increase the internal capacity of VET centres and schools by responding to trainees and labour market needs, by exploiting the use of virtual reality technologies.
The LIFEx project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme, in the scope of Key Action 2 – Strategic Partnerships in Vocation Education and Training.
We are a partnership of five organisations from five European countries: FIP (Ireland), ISQe (Portugal), IEKEP (Greece), SPEKTRUM (Romania), ÉCOLE (Italy). Jointly, we are undertaking the task of creating virtual reality training opportunities to develop soft skills; designing tools to evaluate the training; publishing a booklet on the pedagogical approach developed within the project; and ensuring a viable sustainaibility strategy is in place at the end of the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to human empowerment by increasing the Personal, Social, and Learning to Learn competencies of Europe's workforce;
- Increase VET internal capacity to respond to trainees and market needs through attractive and engaging immersive training offers;
- Measure progress and evaluate how soft skills are developed through VR training;
- Support teachers and trainers in implementing VR within soft skills training programmes

Keep up-to-date on the recent developments within the LIFEx project!
The LIFEx Kick-off meeting took place online on July 15th, with 8 participants from the partners organisations – FIP (IE), ISQe (PT), IEKEP (GR), ÉCOLE (IT) and SPEKTRUM (RO). Partners discussed the project activities with a special emphasis on the development of Immersive Learning Experiences.
